The Lift Bridges of 8th and 10th Street are available year round. During the winter months, they are staffed on an on-call basis. Bridge operations require a 12 hour advance notice during this time. Notice may be given by calling the Department of Public Infrastructure (920) 686-6550 from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, or by calling calling the Joint Dispatch Center at (920) 683-4470.

From April to October, the bridges are staffed on a 24 hour basis and will lift upon demand. The schedule and authority for bridge operation is determined by the Federal Government and can be found in the Federal Register.
